Q.  How much does it cost to join?

Membership in the Digital Photography Forum is free.  

Q.  Do I have to be a photographer to join?

No.  The Digital Photography Forum is open to anyone with an interest in photography.  

Q.  Do I need to be using a fancy camera?

No.  Many of our club members use the camera on their phones and take beautiful photos.  

Q.  Are there competitions?

Each month we invite our club members to share a printed photo based upon a suggested theme.  While we do not have a “judged competition” like other more competitive photo clubs, members select their favorites via a secret ballot.  The results are revealed on our website a few days after the meeting and each of the photographers is invited to talk about their photo at the next club meeting. i.e. where it was taken, special techniques used, etc.  

Q.  Does the club sponsor field-trips?

While the club does not officially sponsor field trips, members frequently get together on coordinated photo-shoots.  For example, one of the local zoos, an antique car show, a fireworks display, a field of poppies, local waterfalls, etc.
